We are licensed makers of biltong and droëwors in South Florida, and our customers think we’re great at it! Our biltong and droëwors have been described as “THE REAL DEAL” and “THE BEST IN THE USA”.

There’s no flavorless, cardboard like biltong at Dutchy’s. We make it good! We make it real. A bit of fat, and perfect for KETO and Paleo as snacks. Biltong made the traditional way. Not overly salted, but not lacking in salt an flavor. Come and get it in store, and have it cut to your liking, or order online, and we’ll have it delivered to you. Just know, if your box is too empty, Nash will call you to hear if there is anything you would like to fill the space with. No one likes to waste money!
Dutchy’s Biltong is available in traditional and peri-peri. You can also buy our traditional droëwors, chilli droëwors and pepper sticks online or in store.

So excited to be able to try out Dutchy’s. Drove in from the Tampa area for a little getaway weekend on the beach and... some proper South African foods. My husband is from Joburg and hasn’t been home since 2017. He was extremely happy with the restaurant choices, the beer and wine selection, and fantastic Biltong. It was my first time trying Bunny Chow, went with hot. Yep, it was definitely HOT, but so much flavor. I cleaned my plate. 😁 Filled a cooler with groceries that should last us for a little while. Owner rudely kicked us out of the plaza. Could’ve been nice but decided to talk with attitude. Very niche place. Let me just start by saying my table and I ordered waters to drink. We were all brought water bottles... and glasses of ice. By then we should have known this was going to be very risky. Definitely should lose a star rating for having to pay for water. That being said, everything is overpriced. Sure, the taste is nice, but in the area of town its in, it doesn't feel like a nice experience, the ambiance is eating in a grocery market, so it's not classy enough to explain the price gauging. The picture posted is the Gatsby meal. It did fill me, but I would have felt like I could come back if it was $10-11 even with a $1.50 water charge.read more

I live around the corner from this gem and only tried it for the first time recently. Fantastic takeout that brought me... back for prepackaged biltong and boerwors to make at home (ideal for grilling slow on the bbq) and they even make a breakfast boerwors that is also delicious. I have really enjoyed everything I've tried from here and they also stock English dry good items like Bird's custard if you feel like making a trifle 🙂 Friendly local family business that does not disappoint.read more

I'm not from South Afrika but I have to tell you as soon as I tasted the Biltong brought for lunch by a fellow captain... I had to ask where it was from.HOLY MOLY this is the best charcuterie dry aged beef I have ever encountered! I traveled there today and found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!!!! This is hands down the BEST steak place in Florida. This is a perfect example of don’t judge a book by its cover. It... may seem a little cold on the outside, but that all changes when you walk inside. It is the cleanest place I have ever eaten, and you won't find better service from this family-run business. While my husband and I visited FL we ate here five times. I recommend listening to the chef's choice and try a little bit of everything. This place by far blew Mastro’s steak house out on the water! We’ve been shopping at Dutchy’s for years now, and just love everything about them: NOBODY beats their product, it’s... simply the best! And to top that, their customer service is equally amazing. And here’s what actually made me write this review today: (we now live in Pacific NW btw, and therefore only dream of their biltong and droëwors). I received a package from them delivered by Fedex. It was a surprise gift from a friend (bless her!!), and the package was so well packed, insulated, plus came with a beautiful hand written card. It really touched me, and then we dug in and my oh my! I went there for lunch on and had very good food, they opened right at the beginning of the pandemic so the dining area... has shelves full of hard to find South African non-perishable canned foods. They have a large assortment of inhouse handmade sausages and meats in the chillers. I had the Gatsby which is a SA style Bratwurst which was delicious served on a bun with onions and cold hot peppers - it very good somewhat sweet aromatic sausage with fries. Try the wings with peri-peri if you want something spicy.read more
